Electronic Pre-Notification of an Intended Acquisition

Electronic pre-notification of an intended acquisition is another tool to expedite cadastral registration proceedings. The contracting parties are able to notify the Cadastral Office through a web portal of their intention to transfer real estate in the near future. Electronic pre-notification was implemented to give the Cadastral Office advance notice of forthcoming applications and consequently accelerate registration proceedings. It also provides a € 15 discount on the registration fee. Although not required by law, unofficial feedback indicates that the Cadastral Offices make quicker decisions on electronic pre-notification applications than on standard applications.
